Theory of Knowledge

What theory of knowledge do you agree with? Do you think Socrates theory that all  knowledge is innate and that through reasoning we can access knowledge or John Locke's theory that the mind is a blank slate and we access knowledge through experience? Please tell me why you feel this way and use examples to support your reasoning. One of your reasons has to be supported with scripture.

  1. I agree with John Locke's theory because i believe that we do access our knowledge through personal experience. The only thing that made me think twice about that was when Mr. Hamilton presented the argument that nobody teaches babies how to cry when they are born. I believe that there is a little truth to Socrates theory also because we are born with a little knowledge like how to cry, how to kick, and other basic knowledge like how to breathe. Proverbs 15:14 says "The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge..." This verse backs up John Locke's theory because it says that we are have to seek to find knowledge not that we have knowledge already. I think there is much more truth to John Locke's theory but i believe there is a little truth in Socrates also.
